- It's 3 of medium size onions sliced and fried & crushed.

- Heat oil in a kadai add star anise, black pepper corns, bay leaves, cloves,cinnamon and cardamom fry for a min add the washed chicken and fry till colour changes.
- Add ginger garlic paste stir fry,add the tomato puree and cook till raw smell goes. Then add haldi powder, coriander powder, jeera powder, red chilli powder and kitchen king masala and fry adding till hot water if dry cook till it leaves the sides.
- Add the fried and crushed onions stir fry then add hot water if want thick gravy add little water, if thin gravy add more water. Add salt and potatoes..
- Let it boil add garam masala powder. Cover and cook on medium flame till potatoes are done.
